The promoters belong to the “Harivallabhdas family” which has been in the textile business since 1926 and the group was earlier know as Shri Ambica Group owning various textile, chemical and engineering companies. The flagship company Shri Ambica mills was one of the largest textile mills in India and well know for its finest quality.
Polyon Chemicals Pvt Ltd was incorporated in the year 2010 to manufacture nylon based speciality polymers. Later the companies strategy was shifted towards manufacturing technical textiles. In 2015 the name of the company was changed from Polyon Chemicals Pvt. Ltd to Polyon Textiles Pvt. Ltd.
Polyon has set out to build around the huge opportunity in Technical Textile business and has established a plant in Santej, Gujarat, India to produce 2.4 million linear meters of fabric. The company has focused on 2 segments of technical textile business Indutech and Geotech. In the segment of Indutech we have a integrated facility to produce woven roving fabric and belting fabric. In Geo-synthetics we are focused on Glass Geogrid with capability of weaving, coating and lamination. We have imported the latest machinery from Germany to ensure consistent quality of fabric.
